3.Computer-Controlled Cutting.
This week what I worked on was the design and construction of 2D parts, on a CNC laser machine. and vinyl cuts.Also included a parametric kit.
Description of the work process of the week 03
I started with the flexibility test from the design of different patterns when making the cut you can give some flexibility to the wood this allows you to carry out many projects since depending on the pattern you can give the desired flexibility in my case I used 3mm MDF.
This image better shows the use of patterns that give this flexibility through cutting. I also show how to use the vinyl cut to put the pattern name and number.
The pieces are based on a didactic game, which I show in the images, these pieces were made in 3mm MDF, and in acrylic covered with vinyl.
This parametric kit shows what different types of letters look like in different sizes, this was engraved on the laser machine, it also shows different engravings and includes what the engraving looks like at different powers and speeds. Another thing is the cuts that you can make in different sizes.
